To nurture and attract high calibre staff we have an active Student Placement and Work Experience Programme. We offer roles in a variety of disciplines and the ability to transfer between specialisms and sectors while reaping the benefits of excellent training, flexible working conditions and remuneration.
Our commitment to nurturing and attracting high calibre staff has been recognised by CIBSE and the University of Ulster for two successive years.
In 2008, awards secured at the prestigious University of Ulster/CIBSE Student Awards included:
- Conor Casey, part time Student of the Year.
- Clodagh Farrell, 2nd Year Student of the Year Award.
- Stephen Kernaghan, Placement Student of the Year Award.
- Clodagh Farrell, Final Year Student of the Year Award.
Following a year's placement within Semple & McKillop, Clodagh went on to secure the Placement Student of the Year Award, 2009.
Then in October 2010, Clodagh was named as a finalist for ASHRAE Graduate of the Year 2010. (See last photo)
Our commitment to supporting students in their career choice and development was also recognised by securing ‘Employer Placement of the Year Award 2009’ at the University of Ulster Student Placement Awards.
