North West Regional College

On this inner-city site adjacent to a busy arterial route, works were phased to deliver 2 significant elements of works.

A 6-storey build provides multi-functional teaching spaces for the arts and music departments. Accommodation includes a recording studio with high quality acoustics laboratories and learning spaces for the beautician and hairdressing faculties. The building hosts a new students union and a 150 seater performance theatre.

The 5-storey extension to the existing structure on the Strand Road is the college’s main focus for computer and IT.

Both buildings achieved BREEAM accreditation.
