This new housing development with 108 units comprises 46 no. 2, 3 & 4 bedroom houses, 40 no. 1, 2 & 3 bedroom duplexes and 3 apartment blocks with 22 no. 1 & 2 bedroom apartments.
Semple & McKillop were appointed as part of a Design & Build Team for this social housing at Tullybrook, Drogheda.
We were responsible for the design, tender, site inspection and witnessing of commissioning of M&E services.
We considered the most viable sustainability options to achieve compliance with Part L, Building Regulations, NZEB and the local Strategic Environmental Plan, which included air sourced heat pumps with demand control ventilation, hot water heat pumps and heat recovery ventilation with electric smart heaters, solar photovoltaics and LED lighting.
