Semple & McKillop are delighted to be appointed as the mechanical and electrical consultants on the significant restoration and refurbishment of the Grand Opera House, Belfast, as a member of the Consarc design team.

The proposed works shall include refurbishment to the Auditorium and Shakespeare Room, improved accessibility facilities, refurbishment to the Act 2 Building and the Baby Grand Room.

The Grand Opera House is Northern Ireland’s premier theatre presenting an outstanding programme of drama, dance, opera, comedy, musicals and family shows since 1895. In 1974 the Grand Opera House became the first listed building in Northern Ireland.
