Marrowbone Millennium Park has officially reopened!
Marrowbone Millennium Park in North Belfast has reopened following a major £4.3 million redevelopment.
The redevelopment of Marrowbone Millennium Park has totally transformed the area with state-of-the-art changing facilities, along with new IFA intermediate standard 3G Pitch, new multi-use games area, an outdoor gym, and a community space. A new playground and event space was also included as part of the scheme.
The main aspect of this project was the new changing pavilion comprising an entrance hall, kitchen, store, four team changing rooms and various auxiliary accommodation, as well as a canopy to cover a 128-capacity terrace.
External services include amenity lighting, floodlighting, and power.
The project is funded by The Executive Office’s Urban Villages Programme and Belfast City Council’s Belfast Investment Fund (BIF) programme.
