Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS)

New cutting-edge Learning & Development College was designed to support the Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS) in training emergency service personnel, partner agencies, and the wider public sector in realistic, controlled scenarios.

The facility includes specialist training areas for floodwater, tactical firefighting, and road traffic collision scenarios, alongside a Learning & Development Centre and Training Warehouse with an integrated Fire Station.

Sustainable solutions included the integration of air source heat pumps, photovoltaic panels, and hybrid ventilation systems, ensuring the facility achieved BREEAM Excellent.

This project represents the largest-ever investment by NIFRS in ensuring the safety and readiness of Northern Ireland’s emergency services.
